Devotional
These last weeks we have been trying. A time of reflection, praying and fasting. Doing what Job did, not to the extreme of sack cloth and ashes, but really thinking about our spiritual lives. I have been asking God to show me what I need to do, or to change in my life.
During these times we are facing something called a pandemic. I don’t think in my lifetime we have faced such a time of uncertainty. 911 would be the closest but even 911 didn’t have the ramifications of Covid-19. This has caused many to think and act differently than ever before. I think of the plagues during the time of Moses and how it turned Egypt upside down. Some may ask the question, Are these the end times; is Jesus coming back? I cannot say yes or no, if Jesus didn’t know, I certainly don’t.
We are certainly seeing changes in the way people act and think. I read the other day more Bibles are being sold now than in the past few years, many people are listening to or watching church services over the internet. I do believe God is using this time to bring about a knowledge of Himself, I am hearing of people turning their lives over to Christ. So, I believe God is going to show us some amazing things.
As Christians we have nothing to fear because the cross made the difference, it is the Resurrection that still brings Hope and Peace.
